As a new client, if you don't already implicitly trust us because you've seen our great reviews, received a solid referral from someone you trust, or because you're just a very trusting person; then we'll need you to put in some extra work at the initial stage. In order to give you the best assessment of our capabilities to complete your project and to give you the most accurate estimate, we'll need you to provide as much project scoping detail as possible. We'll need the address where the work is to be performed, a meaningful description of the work to be performed, and pictures and videos really help, too. And if there's anything else that you think might be a challenge or will be worth mentioning for the success of your project, please include it.
After we have an understanding of the project requirements and any schedule-impacting constraints, we can schedule the work. We value your time, and we value ours, too. We ask you to do everything you can to make the scheduled time work, and we will do the same. Rarely will we ask for flexibility in your schedule, and we will request reciprocation. But life happens, and infrequently a reschedule will be required because of your situation or ours. We can accommodate but won't let it become the norm.
Be a little patient. The bad news is that our existing client base is our priority. The great news is that when you become part of that community, you'll appreciate our priority for you! Part of keeping it lean is that we don't have full-time staff answering phones and emails. We also value providing meaningful estimates, so the experts that perform most of the work are also creating the estimates. We try to provide an initial response within a day, and most of the time we achieve that.
If you didn't front-load your initial contact with a lot of detail, the time to do it is as soon as you've committed to working with us. If there are any materials that need to be ordered, we'll want to do that right away to ensure any long lead times don't get in the way. If there are special tools that we'll need to bring to your job, our team will need to plan for that. And if there's anything we need you to do to prepare the site, we want to inform you of those needs with plenty of advanced notice. In our experience, the quality and timeliness of this information you provide has the greatest influence on project success -- probability that you receive what you wanted, schedule was what you and we hoped for, and price came in lower than or equal to our estimate. Waiting on or running for parts we didn't know we needed, running for tools, or improvising with a less-than-ideal tool are all situations that we want to avoid. It's frustrating for us and expensive for you.
We're a small, lean operation. We don't do Net 15 or anything like that. Payment is required at the end of each day's work. That means we need you to be there or available on your phone when we're done working for the day. As the workday progresses, we can estimate when that will be. We accept Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, cash, or checks. We prefer not to bother with credit cards and their fees. No Paypal.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please send us a message, and we will reply as soon as possible.
